Facility <br /> 230 Industrial Avenue <br /> Ripon, CA 95366 <br /> Dear Mr. Pierce: <br /> On behalf of Nestle USA, Inc. (Nestle), ECM Consultants (ECM) has prepared the <br /> Second Quarter 2016 Site Status Report for the former Nestle facility located at 230 <br /> Industrial Avenue (Site) in Ripon, California (Figure 1). This report presents the results <br /> of groundwater monitoring from April through July 2016. The field work completed <br /> during Second Quarter 2016 complied with Monitoring and Reporting Program (MRP) <br /> R5-2014-0815 and MRP R5-2015-0012-001 and is summarized below. <br /> • On April 4, 2016: <br /> o ECM measured water levels at 145 wells including six Diamond Pet Food <br /> Processor of Ripon LLC (Diamond) wells and nine City of Ripon <br /> piezometers. <br /> o The City of Ripon measured water levels at 10 City of Ripon municipal wells. <br /> • Between April 7 and June 21, 2016, ECM collected samples for analysis of volatile <br /> organic compounds (VOCs) from: <br /> o Ninety-four Nestle monitoring wells (42 Upper Aquifer wells, 36 <br /> Intermediate Aquifer Wells, and 16 Lower Aquifer Wells) using Passive <br /> Diffusion Bags, <br /> o Eight City of Ripon production wells (MW-3, MW-5, MW-7, MW-9, MW-10, <br /> MW-11, MW-12, and MW-16), <br /> o Eight Diamond Pet Food wells (PW-6, PW-8, TH-1, TH-7, TH-8, TH-9, TH- <br /> 10, and TH-11), <br /> • Four private irrigation wells (RPS-1, RC-2, CALTRANS, and 7507 Kiernan <br /> Ave-Irr), <br /> • Three domestic well treatment systems (5725 Hall Road, 7501 Kiernan <br /> Avenue, and 802 Vera Avenue), and <br /> 1 <br />
