Box 388 • Stockton, CA 95201-0388 <br /> (209) 468-3420 <br /> MARIAN FRY D <br /> C/O JERYL FRY <br /> 12609 N WEST LANE SEP 0 6 )994 <br /> LODI CA 95240 <br /> RE: Mohr-Fry Ranches SITE CODE: 1152 <br /> 950 Industrial Drive <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) has <br /> reviewed the August 1994 third quarter quarterly monitoring report submitted by WHF <br /> Environmental for the above referenced site. <br /> The results of laboratory analysis from the sampling which occurred on August 4, 1994 indicate <br /> that there is no Benzene, Toluene, Ethyl Benzene, Xylene, or Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons <br /> as Diesel present in the groundwater beneath the site at this time. <br /> Monthly ground water elevations have established that gradient at the site fluctuates constantly <br /> in every direction except south. Future ground water elevations shall be provided quarterly as <br /> part of the quarterly reporting requirements. Monthly measurements are no longer necessary. <br /> In a letter dated July 12, 1994 PHS/EHD requested a soil remediation plan for the existing soil <br /> contamination to be submitted by August 12, 1994. PHS/EHD received a letter of reply from <br /> WHF Environmental dated July 20, 1994 requesting a 60 day extension to September 20, 1994 <br /> in order to allow time for Mohr-Fry to apply to the State Reimbursement Fund (SB 2004). <br /> PHS/EHD granted the extension. <br /> Pursuant to Article 11 (The Corrective Action Regulations) Section 2721 (a) of the California <br /> Code of Regulations responsible parties for an underground storage tank shall comply with the <br /> requirements of this article whenever there is any reportable unauthorized release. Article 11 is <br /> applicable to this site because of the reported unauthorized release which occurred at the time <br /> of the tank removal. <br /> Eligibility for the reimbursement fund shall not determine if work shall continue at a particular <br /> site. Remediation of this site shall continue as required by Section 25299.37 of the California <br /> Health and Safety Code. PHS/EHD requires that a workplan for remediation of the documented <br /> soil contamination be submitted by September 20, 1994. <br /> A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services <br />
