MOHR-FRY Ranches
950 Industrial Drive, Stockton, California Tune 2, 1993
Phase II Remedial Report Page: 2
3.0 Scope of Work
WHF Environmental conducted six soil borings in the vicuuty of the former
underground tanks (Figure 2). Two of the borings located adjacent to each of the
' former underground storage tanks were developed into monitoring wells. A third
boring, developed into a monitoring well was located towards the south of the two
former tank excavations. The additional borings were located around the former tank
excavations to help in the lateral definition of the soil contamination.
Laboratory soil samples were taken from all borings at five foot intervals including the
' capillary fringe. Samples from each boring were selected for analysts by the registered
professional based on odor, discoloration, PID readings, and previous findings to order
to demonstrate a clean lateral interface The other samples were held by WHF in a
' freezer pending the results of the first samples. The only additional samples submitted
for analysis were from boring MW-2 at 35 and 45 feet. These samples were included
in order to better define the limits of contamination between the 25 and 50 foot
samples.
Laboratory results for soil sample are presented in Table 1 and Appendix.
