Governmental Buildings Division
1722 East Scotts Avenue
N Stockton, California 95205
Subject: Addendum
Environmental and Geotechnical Assessment Report
Dated August 26, 1994
San Joaquin County Garage
130 North Hunter Street
Stockton, California
Dear Mr. Ogata:
It has come to our attention than an error was made in our recently issued "Environmental and
Geotechnical Assessment Report ' dated August 26, 1994. Page 4 of 14, Executive Summary
page, Paragraph 2 should read as follows:
Kleiafelder collected a total of eight (8) soil samples for environmental purposes and fourteen (14) soil samples for geotechnical k
purposes from two soil borings. Two of the soil samples obtained from our soil borings adjacent to the garage contained detectable .
petroleum hydrocarbons. Therefore, the former underground storage tanks (USTs) appear to have released gasoline range
petroleum hydrocarbons to the soil with an unknown distance of migration.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. If you have any questions, please do
not hesitate to contact our office. i
Sincerely,
f
KLEINFELDER, INC. 0
Robert "Tony" Martin, R.E.A.
Senior Geologist
RTM:md SJ/94
rI
RTM:md SJ/94 F
Copyright 1994, Kleinfelder, Inc.
KLEINFELDER 2825 East Myrtle Street, Stockton , CA 95205 (209) 948-1345
