c
Joaquin County
iSan
Public Health
Services
Environmental
Division
(PHS/EHD)/PHS Site
Mitigation Unit
Memo
To: Ted Norgard,Sr. REHS-Unit Ii
From: Ron Rowe, Sr. REHS-Unit 1171'r
CC: Magaret Lagorio, Unit IV Supervsor
Date: April 8, 1997
Re: EBMUD-Folsom South Canal Route#2: Environmental Assessment Project
Ted;
I spoke with Margaret Lagorio (418197) regarding this project and as anticipated yesterday we will need
individual applications for each APN (unless multiple parcels are owned by the same party)with access
agreements from the land owners or their designated authority prior to issuing the permits for the
piezometers. With regard to sampling soil or groundwater we will require the project proponent to
provide us with an environmental assessment master file record for reporting purposes (they are
proposing potential analysis for hazardous materials) which we currently have on file Site Code #
506462 with EBMUD as billing party. I relayed this information to Rene Noriega of OCC, ]no and he will
be faxing the scope of analytical work and sampling frequency, access agreements, and Assessor
Parcel Numbers to me for review and approval for the piezometers only. All geotech work is yours and
should you have any scheduling conflicts please do not hesitate to let me know as I will try to oversee
any work you cannot understanding that keeping this oversight to a few of our staff is less confusing
and provides a better service to the customer. Let me know if you need any other help or clarification on
these issues.
Thanks !
9 Page 1
