VlOaa tRV„1=CVL.I.V,', JVUa[l UMIVML �RVV lU 'aYJ OJG JiJL �fIUL lU/ Ga Assessor's Parcel No. 152-250-30 and 154-100-20 RECEIVED OCT - 8 1996 WATER SUPPLY IMPHuvEMENTS PERMIT TO ENTER FOR PRELIMINARY ENGIlVEERING AND FIELD STUDIES FOR FOLSOM SOUTH CANAL CONNECTION PROJ'EC'T' For a consideration of$100,permission is granted to East Bay Municipal Utility District ("District") for a period between December 1, 1996 through December 31, 1997 to enter in, over and upon owner's land for the purposes of evaluating the resources present within the project area, including field studies of plants and wildlife species to determine possible impacts from project construction and operation. Studies will consist of wildlife surveys, plant studies, and archeological field studies, and preliminary engineering studies, including surveying, in connection with the District's Initial Study of the Folsom South Canal Connection Project. The rights and privileges hereby granted to District may, at the option of the District, be exercised by any authorized agent or contractor of District, including but not limited to C112M Hill, Sones& Stokes Associates, and their subconsultants. Even though this Permit does not require physical sod disturbance of Owner's land, it is understood and agreed that the District will leave the premises in a clean and orderly condition and will repair, replace, or compensate for any existing improvements that may have been unexpectedly or accidentally disturbed during the course of work_ Project team members and the project consultant have been thoroughly instructed in proper field procedures and conduct. The following roles will be followed: • Property owners will be given at Ieast 24 hours' notice by telephone or mail prior to entry.. • Crates will be left as they were found. All vehicles will stay on roads, no off-road vehicle travel will be permitted_ • No pets or firearms will be permitted. • All machinery and vehicles will be equipped with spark arrestors. • All vehicles will be required to carry fire extinguishers and shovels. • Smoking is per ritted only in enclosed vehicles. • No trash or other evidence of field visits will be left on the property. • All field staff will cavy identification and information regarding this project. • Vehicle speeds will be kept to five (5) miles per hour on unpaved roads in agricultural properties to minimize dust. Owner is welcome to accompany or observe any of the crews working on their property at any time. 1
