Weeds shall be minimized through control of water depth, harvesting, and/or herbicides. <br /> c. Dead algae, vegetation, and debris shall not accumulate on the water surface. <br /> 11. No physical connection shall exist between wastewater piping and any domestic water supply <br /> or other domestic/industrial supply well without an air gap or approved reduced pressure <br /> device. <br /> 12. The wastewater treatment and land application system shall be designed, constructed, <br /> operated, and maintained to prevent inundation or washout due to floods with a 100-year <br /> return frequency. <br /> 13. The freeboard in the pond shall never be less than two feet, as measured vertically from the <br /> water surface to the lowest point of overflow. <br /> 14. The wastewater treatment, storage, and land application system shall have sufficient capacity <br /> to accommodate wastewater flow and seasonal precipitation. Design seasonal precipitation <br /> shall be based on total annual precipitation using a return period of 100 years, distributed <br /> monthly in accordance with historical rainfall patterns. <br /> 15. On or about 15 October each year, available pond storage capacity shall at least equal the <br /> volume necessary to comply with Discharge Specifications No. 12 and No. 13. <br /> C. Effluent Limitations: <br /> 1. Wastewater discharged from the storage pond to the Land Application Area shall not <br /> exceed the following monthly average effluent limits, or such concentrations as the <br /> Discharger determines necessary to ensure compliance with the Groundwater <br /> Limitations: <br /> Crush Season Non-Crush Season <br /> Constituent Units Concentration Concentration <br /> BOD mg/L 400 200 <br /> Total Dissolved Solids mg/L 2,000 2,000 <br /> Total Nitrogen mg/L 40 40 <br /> 2.
