The indicated direction and gradient are consistent with the reported data for the site
showing an easterly direction of groundwater flow and hydraulic gradient of approximately 0.0004.
Contoured groundwater elevation data from the March 20, 2006 sampling event are shown in
' Appendix A - Plate 3. Appendix E - Cumulative Tables - Table 1 shows the summary of
groundwater elevation data accumulated to date from the site.
4.2 Monitoring Well Sampling Event
Wells were then purged of three standing volumes of water, or until dry, using a new disposable bailer
' at each well. Purge water was monitored for pH, specific conductance, total dissolved solids, and
temperature during purging, and purge water was disposed of on the ground. Field Sampling Sheets
for the March 20, 2006 sampling event are presents in Appendix F - Field Sampling Sheets.
Groundwater samples were collected by emptying the disposable bailers directly into appropriate
laboratory containers which were then labeled, and temporarily stored on ice. Samples were transported
on ice, under proper chain of custody documentation to Argon Laboratories (A Certified Laboratory)
' for analysis. Results of laboratory analysis of groundwater samples for the March 20, 2006 sampling
event are summarized in Table 3. Copies of the laboratory analytical data sheets are included in
Appendix C. Appendix E - Table 2 shows cumulative groundwater analytical data for the site
' arranged in time series and sorted by analytical constituent and well. The time series arrangement of
analytical data shown in Appendix E-Table 2 is useful for identifying annual fluctuations and longer
term variations in groundwater quality.
