(AGE) . Five quarterly sampling events have been conducted to <br /> investigate the site since the installation of the four monitoring wells MW-1 to MW-4 in <br /> 2003 . Concentrations of contaminants in groundwater samples collected from the <br /> monitoring wells have increased by as much as an order of magnitude in all 4 wells since the <br /> first samples were collected in October 2003 (See Table 1 below) . Lead scavengers, 1 ,2- <br /> dichoroethane (1 ,2-DCA) and 1 ,2-dibromoctlhane (EDB), have also increased in <br /> concentrations in the groundwater samples. Motor Oil (TPH-mo) has not been detected in <br /> the groundwater samples, although it was detected in the soil during the initial investigation <br /> in 2002. Depth to groundwater has been at approximately 27 to 28 feet below surface grade <br /> (bsg) during the last 5 quarters. The groundwater flow is northeasterly. <br /> Table 1.
