Delineate the vertical extent of the contamination by advancing one deep soil boring to <br /> approximately 70 feet bsg or until petroleum hydrocarbons are no longer detected from <br /> 2 consecutive soil samples as determined by an organic vapor monitor (OVM) <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> 1 . Historical groundwater low in the area is between 70 feet and 80 feet bsg. Minimum <br /> depth of the soil boring should be to 70 feet bsg regardless of detection by the OVM. <br /> 2. Contingency to advance the soil boring to below 70 feet bsg. San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department (EHD) considers vertical delineation in the soil be <br /> validated by at least 2 consecutive 5-foot samples of laboratory non-detect at below <br /> appropriate detection limits. <br /> 3.
