Garage (Erardi Ventures)
715 North Hunter Street
Stockton, California 95269
Dear Mr. Erardi :
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has received and reviewed
Groundwater Monitoring Report — Second Quarter 2014 (Report), dated 30 September 2014,
prepared and submitted by your consulting firm , Advanced GeoEnvironmental , Inc. (AGE) on
your behalf for the above-referenced site. In the Report, AGE has recommended a revised
sampling schedule, collection of grab groundwater samples down-gradient of monitoring wells
MW-13 and MW-14, and conducting an in-situ chemical oxidation ( ISCO) pilot study involving
the injection of RegenOxT°" or hydrogen peroxide to evaluate whether ISCO could expedite off-
site cleanup of petroleum hydrocarbon contamination .
The EHD has reviewed historical groundwater analytical data for this site and approves the
following monitoring and sampling schedule :
• Semi-annually collect groundwater samples from monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-5 ,
MW-11 , MW-141 MW-15 and dual-phase extraction well DPEA ;
• Annually collect groundwater samples from monitoring wells MW-10 and MW-13;
• Biennially collect groundwater samples from monitoring wells MW-6 through MW-8 and
MW-12;
• Survey monitoring well MW-9 immediately since this has not been done and collect
groundwater samples from this well during the next sampling event; MW-9 has not been
sampled since October 2008 and a sampling schedule for MW-9 will be determined once
current analytical data are made available;
• Semi-annually collect depth-to-water measurements from all wells ;
