INTRODUCTION
At the request of Mr. Vince Erardi, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared
Preliminary Site Assessment Work Plan for the property at 715 North Hunter Street, Stockton,
California (the site). The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1 . A plan view of the site is
illustrated on Figure 2.
This work plan has been prepared as required by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services -
Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) by letter dated 03 August 2001 to investigate the
vertical and lateral extent of the subsurface impact from an unauthorized release(s) associated with
j operation of the underground storage tank (UST) system on the site. This work plan has been
prepared in accordance with Appendix A to Tri-Regional Recommendations - Reporting, dated 30
August 1991 , issued by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB).
This work plan provides a description of the scope of work and procedures to be used in soil probe
borings, soil and groundwater sample collection and analysis and soil boring abandonment. The
focus of the work plan is to assess the vertical extent of impacted soil and to assess the ground water
for the released contaminants. The results of this investigation may be utilized as a guide for further
assessment for lateral extent of impacted subsurface media.
2.0.
