Colorant Use i Container Disposal <br /> Store Operating Policies & Procedure Manual <br /> Sectio r AL <br /> • Tint or tint containers of any kind CANNOT be disposed of in the <br /> dumpsters! ! ! ! ! ! <br /> • All empty tint containers (CA/NWOK) must be disposed of as hazardous <br /> waste (TX stores will be universal waste). <br /> • Each colorant container must be emptied fully, prior to placing in the cubic <br /> yard box (Refer to SOP's for vital information). Once the cubic yard box is <br /> full, seal box and stage in Hazardous Waste area. <br /> • Rudd lids must be completely removed using a can opener and the lids <br /> wiped down completely before disposing. The used rags should be put in <br /> the 5-gallon red rag can. Empty containers must be stored in sealed <br /> containers that are provided by our waste hauler vendors. <br /> • The accumulation of empty colorant containers may necessitate the need <br /> for more frequent pickups. Stores should not accumulate more than two <br /> (2) full boxes of empty tint containers or hold onto any amount of waste <br /> for more than four (4) months, whichever comes first. <br />
