1 <br /> A S 5 0 C I A T E S I N C <br /> Summary Report of <br /> Groundwater and Soil Investigation <br /> ' Farmer Property <br /> 610 North Hunter Street <br /> Stockton, California <br /> ATC Project No 62596 0001 <br /> 1 <br /> ' 10 INTRODUCTION <br /> This report summarizes procedures and practices utilized by ATC Associates to evaluate <br /> ' impacted soil and groundwater associated with the former underground storage tanks (USTs) at <br /> 610 North Hunter Street, Stockton, California The investigation consisted of drilling three soil <br /> borings and collecting soil and groundwater samples for analysis <br /> 1.1 Site Location <br /> The site is located at 610 North Hunter Street, Stockton, California (Figure 1) The site is <br /> located on the northeast corner of Oak Street and North Hunter Street and extends to the adjacent <br /> ' property located on the northwest corner of Oak Street and San Joaquin Street This property is <br /> owned by Mr and Mrs Raymond Farmer The location is primarily a commercial and <br /> ' residential area The site was formerly occupied by a rental car agency, but is currently vacant <br /> L2 Site Background and Previous Work <br /> 1 <br /> On October 6, 1987, Al Williamson, General Contractor, removed two 1,000-gallon leaded <br /> gasoline tanks and one 550-gallon waste oil tank from the locations shown on Figure 2 Soil <br /> ' samples collected after the tank removals contained elevated concentrations of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) <br /> ' 1988 Falcon Ener attempted to remove all VOC and petroleum hydrocarbon <br /> On January 21, Energy <br /> contaminated soil by overexcavating the former tank locations The former tank locations were <br /> excavated to a depth of approximately 22 feet below ground surface (bgs) The excavation was <br /> limited to the north by the on-site building The confirmation samples collected from the base of <br /> ' the overexcavatzon still contained elevated concentrations of VOCs The overexcavated soil was <br /> disposed of at Forward Landfill <br /> w 1625961reportslphui doe 1 <br /> 1 <br />
