' lk" KLEI NFELDER
elevation of the permanent mark on the top of the well casing to provide a groundwater surface
elevation for each monitoring well location
Water level measurements made on January 26, February 3, and March 25, 1993, were
converted to relative elevations using the surveyed well elevation data provided by Tom O
Morrow, Inc The calculated groundwater gradient vaned between 0 019 on January 26, and
0 026 on March 25, 1993. The direction of the groundwater gradient remained relatively
constant to the southwest The groundwater data used to calculate these gradients are provided
' on Table 3, and the groundwater gradient direction is presented on Plate 5
4.5 ANALYTICAL RESULTS
Two sets of samples were collected from each of the monitoring wells. The first set was
collected on January 26, 1993 and the second set was collected on March 25, 1993 Both sets
of samples were submitted under chain-of-custody control to Superior in Martinez, California
Superior is certified by Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) for the requested
analyses. Each set of well samples was analyzed for:
► Extractable TPH by EPA Method 8015M/3510
► Purgeable TPH by EPA Method 8015M/5030
► BTEX by EPA Method 602
Ethylene Dibromide DB b EPA Meth 11
► y (EDB) y Method 80
' ► Lead by EPA Method 6010
None of the requested analytes were detected in any of the water samples A copy of the
second laboratory report was sent directly to PHSIEHD by Superior Copies of both of the
analytical laboratory reports are included in Appendix G
4.6 MONITORING WELL DESTRUCTION
On April 16, 1993, each of the three monitoring wells was destroyed Kleinfelder obtained a
Well Destruction Permit from San Joaquin County Public Health Services (Appendix H)
Prior to destruction, the total depth of each well was measured using a Simco water level
1
24-220152-DOOIFR12-105 (1993) Page 9 of 18 July 27, 1993
Copyright 1993 Kleinfefder, Inc
