approximately 30 feet below grade at the approximate locations shown in Figure 4.
Continuous soil samples will be taken. Permits for the Soil Probe will be requested from San
Joaquin County.
All soil samples will be field checked with a Photoionization Detector [PID] which measures
organic vapors. All soil samples in excess of background levels will be analyzed.
Soil samples will be analyzed for TPHD .
Soil samples collected in the butyrate liner will be preserved by covering both ends with plastic
caps. Soil samples will be labeled and logged under Chain-of- Custody (COC) control. Soil
samples will be stored in a cooler with ice, transported to a state certified laboratory for
analysis with COC documentation.
A maximum of 25 soil samples is anticipated to be collected and analyzed in this task.
Task 6
A well receptor survey will be conducted within a 2,000 foot radius of the site and shall
provide recorded well construction. The well construction data will be presented in a Table.
The well's location will be identified on a map.
Task 7
A report will be prepared to document the results of the investigation and the laboratory
analyses of the samples. The report will include a summary of the field work, boring logs,
COC documentation, certified analytical results, conclusions and recommendations.
The results of all soil and groundwater sampling relating to the UST and AST investigation
will be presented in Tables. Detection limits will be shown.
Site maps will be to scale and show the location of the former UST and AST, current UST,
buried pipes and utilities, if any, septic system and leach fields, if any, all above ground
structures including utility lines, as well as nearby land marks such as rivers, and potentially
sensitive receptors.
The report will include a complete geologic description of the site subsurface lithology.
Properly labeled cross-sections will be included. A standard explanation will be included with
the cross-sections that defines all units, abbreviations and symbols used, as well as the
horizontal and vertical scales used to create the dra%A-ings.
Two copies of the report will be submitted to the client .
4
