The soil boring at stations 0 + 00 "F" line of the Tracy Water Supply
Project has been deleted from the work plan dated April 13, 1988.
2. Soil boring excavated material will be stored on an impervious material and
covered until laboratory analysis results are known and management or dispo-
sal recommendations can be made to the San Joaquin Local Health District.
3. The existing and proposed bore holes (maximum of six (6)) will be closed and
sealed with a 5 percent bentonite/cement slurry to meet the requirements of
the San Joaquin Local Health District. San Joaquin Local County Health
District staff will be notified 24 hours prior to boring or sealing of bore
holes at this site.
4. Groundwater from the north boring pit, "C" line, station 44 + 25, will be
discharged to the city of Tracy sewage treatment plant as per the recom-
mendations of Mr. David Brent, California Regional Water Quality Control
Board, Central Valley Region. It is anticipated that less than 2,000
gallons of groundwater will be pumped from the boring pit.
5. The vertical boring contractor will have a valid C-57 contractor's license
and will secure a drilling permit prior to start of work to drill four (4)
borings on the "D" line at the Byron Road crossing.
6. All data and reports will be signed by the city of Tracy staff and submitted
to the San Joaquin Local Health District within thirty (30) days after
approved by the city of Tracy.
