501. 3 . 4 STATION 2 - BOOT WASH AND RINSE <br /> Step into the first container of decontamination solution <br /> and scrub bottom and sides of boots up to taped area to remove <br /> gross contamination. After boots have been scrubbed, step into the <br /> second container of decontamination solution and repeat the washing <br /> process. Finally, step into container of rinse water and rinse <br /> boots thoroughly. Proceed to Station 3 . <br /> 501. 3 . 5 STATION 3 - OUTER GLOVE WASH AND RINSE <br /> Place gloved hands in container or decontamination <br /> solution and wash gloves. Use a brush if necessary. After washing <br /> the gloves, place hands in container of rinse water and rinse <br /> gloves thoroughly. This station and Station 2 may be combined into <br /> one station if protective equipment is not grossly contaminated. <br /> 501. 3 . 6 STATION d - COVERALL AND OUTER GLOVE REMOVAL <br /> If used, remove tape from legs and wrists as well as from <br /> coverall zipper. Then, remove coverall and gloves in that order. <br /> Care must be taken to prevent transfer of contaminants from <br /> coverall to underclothes. Transfer can be minimized by rolling or <br /> folding the coverall as it is being removed so that the coverall is <br /> turned inside-out. Place tape, coveralls, and outer gloves in the <br /> plastic-lined receptacle provided at this station. <br /> 501. 3 .7 STATION 5 - RESPIRATOR, BOOT, AND INNER GLOVE <br /> REMOVAL <br /> Remove respirator and boots and place them in receptacles <br /> provided at this station.
