501. 6 DECONTAMINATION EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES <br /> 1. 1 to 2 Plastic drop cloths, minimum thickness of 3 mills <br /> and minimum size of 9 x 12 feet. <br /> 2 . 4 to 7 Containers, 30 to 50 gallon capacity (galvanized <br /> tub, stock tank, or children' s wading pool) , for washing <br /> and rinsing. <br /> 3 . 1 to 2 Receptacles (drums or plastic trash cans) for <br /> receiving contaminated disposable equipment and trash. <br /> 4 . 1 to 2 55-gallon drums for storage of contaminated wash <br /> and rinse water. <br /> 5 . Plastic bags of different sizes for temporary storage of <br /> contaminated equipment and for lining trash receptacles. <br /> ( 6 . 2 to 4 Long-handled soft bristled brushes (e. g. , toilet <br /> brush) . <br /> 7 . 3 to 4-inch diameter plastic pipe or 4x4-inch timber to <br /> raise edges of drop cloth to contain contaminated wash <br /> and rinse water spilled during decontamination. Other <br /> methods may be used. <br /> 8 . Detergent (e.g. Alconox) . <br /> 9 . Hand soap. <br /> 10. Fresh water. <br /> 11 .
