The EHD has reviewed the findings of these two events <br /> which were presented in Groundwater Monitoring Raoort—Fourth Quarter 2014 (GVVMR 4014). <br /> dated 15 January 2015 and Groundwater Monitoring Repurf — First Quarter 2015 (GVVN1R <br /> 1C>15). dated 26 February 2015, both prepared and submitted byyour consulting firm Advanced <br /> GeoEnvivonmenta|. |nc <br /> The contaminant concentrations in groundwater monitored by monitoring wells MW-1 and <br /> PNVV-6. aspresented from GVVK8R4C)14 and GVVK8R 1C>15, donot show significant rebound or <br /> increase. The EHD discussed the case with Regional Water Quality Control Board staff and has <br /> determined the case pertaining to the subject site is eligible for closure. <br /> The EHD directs the following: discontinuation of groundwater monitoring; submittal of the <br /> estimated time to reach water quality goals 8N{l6\ and initial and removed contaminate mass <br /> estimates; preparation of well destruction work plan; and preparation of public participation <br /> notice regarding the pending oaaa o|oauna Prior to the destruction of vve||o associated with this <br /> oaaa. a 00'dmy public notification period must be conducted. As required by the Low-Threat <br /> Underground Storage Tank Case Closure Policy (LTCP) enacted by the State Water Resources <br /> Control Board (State Water Board) on 17 August 2012. "Municipal and county water diotricta, <br /> water replenishment dietriote, special act districts with groundwater management authohty, <br /> agencies with authority to issue building permits for land affected by the petroleum re|eao*, <br /> owners and occupants of the property impacted by the petroleum release, and the owners and <br /> occupants of all parcels adjacent to the impacted property shall be notified of the proposed case <br /> closure and provided a 80-day period to cornmen(."
