r , <br /> rr. � i r'}'f FR Li ' l • �r 1..T1 <br /> r 1, n <br /> t, FUGRO WEST, INC. <br /> 1050 Melody Lane,Suite 160 <br /> November 27, 1995 Roseville California 95678 <br /> Fugro Project No 9347-9413 Tel (916)782-2110FAX (916)786-7830 <br /> Ms Margaret Lagorio <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> Post Office Box 388 <br /> Stockton, California 95201-0388 <br /> Subject: Subsurface Investigation Results, Annual Fourth Quarter 1995, <br /> Ground Water Monitoring Report, and Case Closure Request <br /> Shell Service Station (WIC No 204-4416-0202) <br /> 420 West Kettleman Lane, Lodi, Caltforma <br /> Dear Ms Lagorio <br /> Fugro West, Inc (Fugro), is providing this report documenting the results of a subsurface <br /> investigation performed at the subject site on August 8, 1995 (Figures 1 and 2) The <br /> investigation was performed at the request of San Joaquin County Public Health Services, <br /> Environmental Health Division (SJCPHS/EHD) in a letter to Shell Oil Products Company (Shell) <br /> dated February 23, 1995 The purpose of the investigation was to assess soil and ground water <br /> conditions south of the underground storage tanks (USTs) and the soil condition in the vicinity <br /> of soil boring B-8 All field work was conducted according to Fugro's Standard Operating <br /> Procedures (Attachment 1) and the May 8, 1995 workplan prepared by Fugro and approved by <br /> the SJCPHS/EHD <br /> During the investigation the following scope of work was performed onsite <br /> • Soil borings B-17 (6-inch-diameter) and MW-4 (10-inch-diameter), were drilled, <br /> logged and sampled at the locations shown on Figure 2 <br /> • Soil boring MW-4 was completed as 4-inch-diameter ground water monitoring well <br /> MW-4 Soil boring B-17 was sealed with neat cement to grade surface <br /> • <br /> Well MW-4 was developed and surveyed <br /> • Annual monitoring and sampling of all wells was performed at the site <br /> • Selected soil samples and the ground water samples were submitted to a state- <br /> certified laboratory for chemical analyses <br /> • • This technical report and case closure request was prepared for submittal to the <br /> appropriate parties <br /> 93479013 ARR <br /> A member of the Fugro group of companies with offices throughout the world <br />
