' 2 <br /> 1050 Melody Lane, Suite 160ns'� ,1fj <br /> Roseville, California 95678 <br /> Re Fourth Quarter 1992 Ground-water Monitoring Report, <br /> Shell - 420 West Kettleman Lane, Lodi, WIC# 204-4416-0202 <br /> Dear Ms Odenthal <br /> This letter report presents the results of the fourth quarter 1992 ground-water <br /> monitoring event for the Shell Oil Company (Shell) service station at 420 West <br /> Kettleman Lane, Lodi Wells MW-1 and MW-3 are monitored on a quarterly <br /> bans Well MW-2 is monitored on an annual basis during fourth quarter <br /> GROUND-WATER ELEVATION SURVEY <br /> On October 15, 1992, static water levels were measured in wells MW-1 through <br /> MW-3 before purging and sampling Water levels were measured to 0 01 foot <br /> from the top of the well casing using an oil/water interface probe A summary of <br /> the monitoring well field measurement data including water level <br /> measurements, and ground-water elevations from this quarter and four previous <br /> monitoring events is presented in Table 1 <br /> SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS <br /> Ground-water samples were collected on October 5, 1992 from monitoring wells <br /> MW-1 through MW-3 A site map, including the monitoring well locations, is <br /> attached, as provided by Aegis Environmental Ground-water monitoring wells <br /> were purged before sampling using a polyvinyl chloride bailer, a low-flow <br /> submersible pump, or a Teflon® bailer Samples were collected using a Teflon <br /> bailer. The procedures used to purge and sample ground-water monitoring <br /> wells were detailed in our November 14, 1991 Proposal to Conduct Ground- <br /> water Monitoring for Shell Oil Company, and were included in the first quarter <br /> 1992 monitoring report. <br />
