Hazelton Ave.
Stockton, CA 95201
Attn: D.M. Hinson, REHS
Re: Underground Storage Tank Unauthorized Release/
Contamination Site Report for Shell Station located at
420 W. Kettlemen Ln. , Lodi, CA
Dear Ms. Hinson:
IF
Attached please find subject completed report form (Form 5) .
Also attached is a statement of financial responsibility and
a Certification of Financial Responsibility.
Your office will soon receive a report of the results of the
site assessment performed for -the purpose of replacing
existing underground tanks and transfer lines at subject
location. You will note that only one sample showed
detectable concentrations of TPH and benzene. Since this
sample was taken from an area which is not near the existing
tank cluster nor the transfer lines, we are conducting
further investigations to attempt to determine if abandoned
tanks exist in the vicinity of boring no. 8, or if this may
have been the location of a former tank cluster.
All gasoline storage/transfer systems passed a precision test
conducted by Hunter Environmental on 2/23/89.
AEGIS Environmental Consultants is also preparing a work plan
for further site investigation.
Should you have any immediate questions, please do not
hesitate in contacting me at the above address , or via
telephone at 1-800-451--2799, ext. 136.
Sincerely,
D.
