i <br /> INSTALLATION OF THREE GROUNDWATER MONITORING WELLS <br /> VAN BUSKIRK PARK GOLF COURSE - MAINTENANCE YARD <br /> ' 1.740 HOUSTON AVENUE <br /> STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> This report summarizes the installation of three groundwater monitoring wells at the Van <br /> Buskirk Park Golf Course maintenance yard (SITE). The work outlined herein was <br /> performed by The Twining Laboratories, Inc, accordance with the scope of <br /> work presented in Twining's work plan d ed May 4, 1994 ( Hing, 1994). The work was. <br /> iauthorized by City of Stockton Purchas Order 060 ated March 23, 1994. Field <br /> activities were conducted during June of 1994. <br /> 2.0 PURPOSE AND SCOPE <br /> ' The purpose of this project was to: <br /> o Assess whether petroleum product constituents (PPCs) originating from diesel and <br /> gasoline underground storage tanks (USTs), formerly located at the SITE, have <br /> impacted groundwater. <br /> The following scope of work was conducted to achieve the stated purpose: <br /> o Three soil borings (MW I, MW2, and MW3) were drilled to a depth of 30 feet below <br /> site grade (BSG); <br /> o Soil samples were collected at five-foot intervals beginning at five feet BSG; <br /> o The soil borings were completed as two-inch diameter groundwater monitoring wells; <br /> o Following installation, the groundwater monitoring wells were developed and <br /> sampled; <br />
