SITE HEAL TH & SAFETY PLAN <br /> PROJECT: Van Buskirk Golf Course Facility <br /> PROJECT NO: AGE-NC-98-0468 <br /> STREET ADDRESS: 1740 Houston Avenue, Stockton, California <br /> 1.0. SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The Van Buskirk Golf Course is located at 1740 Houston Avenue, Stockton, California. The golf <br /> course is located in the incorporated City of Stockton. The golf course is situated along the south <br /> side of Houston Avenue and is bound on the east by Interstate 5, Walker Slough to the south, and <br /> open-space to the west. The maintenance facility site is located on the south central portion of the <br /> golf course. <br /> The maintenance facility site consists of a maintenance shop structure, storage shed, and open <br /> storage area(Figure 2). In addition, the facility formerly operated two fuel USTs and fuel <br /> dispensers. The USTs formerly located at the site consisted of a 550-gallon gasoline tank and a <br /> 1,000-gallon diesel tank. <br /> General Field Activities: Collection of soil and ground water samples using hollow-stern auger <br /> drilling techniques. Installation of ground water monitoring wells. The operator breathing zone <br /> and soil cuttings/samples will be screened for volatile organic compounds using a organic vapor <br /> monitor (OVM). <br /> Area Affected: Proximal, immediate area surrounding and beneath former fuel dispenser island. <br /> Surrounding Population: Commercial/Residential <br /> Topography: Flat, unpaved. <br /> Weather Condition: Warm/Hot <br /> 2.0.
