City of Stockton A68101.02C
February 23, 1996 Page 11
4.4 Technical_Report: Upon completion of field and laboratory activities, a technical
report will be prepared summarizing results and findings (including the final logs of soil
borings and laboratory analysis reports). Evaluations will be provided regarding the lateral
extent of PPC migration in soil and groundwater. Finally, recommendations regarding the
need for further site assessment and/or site remedial actions will be presented.
5.0 SITE SAFETY PLAN
The site safety plan for Twining personnel assigned to this project is presented in Appendix
B.
6.0 LIMITATIONS
The proposed work is intended to be an interactive process. Additional work may be
required to more fully assess the extent of petroleum product migration in soil.
The purpose of a geologic/hydrogeologic study is to reasonably characterize existing site
conditions based on the geology/hydrogeology of the area. In performing such a study, it
. is understood that a balance must be struck between a reasonable inquiry into the site
conditions and an exhaustive analysis of each conceivable environmental characteristic.
Conditions of interest may exist at the site that cannot be identified by visual observation
alone. Where subsurface exploratory work is performed, our professional opinions are
based in part on interpretation of data from discrete sampling locations that may not
represent actual conditions or unsampled locations. If conditions of interest are not
identified during performance of the work, such a finding should not be construed as a
guarantee that such conditions do not exist at the site.
The proposed work scope assumes the site will be accessible at the time work is performed.
Twining shall not be responsible for damage to underground utilities or installations which
are not accurately shown on site plans provided to Twining before work begins. Security
of the site is the responsibility of the client.
The professional services will be performed, the findings obtained, and the conclusions
prepared in accordance with generally-accepted engineering principles and practices in San
Joaquin County at the time the work is performed. This warranty is in lieu of all other
warranties, either expressed or implied.
This work plan was prepared for the sole use of the client and appropriate regulatory
agencies. Any reliance on this work plan by a third party is at such party's sole risk. This
• warranty is in lieu of all other warranties either expressed or implied.
