A site location
map and site plan showing excavation boundaries and soil sample locations will be included.
1 Evaluations will be provided regarding the vertical extent of soils containing PPCs and the
lateral extent of petroleum product migration in soil.
5.0 LIMITATIONS
' The propostd work is intended to be an interactive process. Additional work to more fully
assess the extent of petroleum product migration in soil and/or groundwater is not
anticipated but could become necessary. Additional work and/or unforeseeable conditions,
' not summarized in the cost estimate, would be charged on a time and materials basis; your
prior approval would be requested should this occur.
The purpose of a geologic/hydrogeologic study is to reasonably characterize existing site
conditions based on the geology/hydrogeology of the area. In performing such a study, it
is understood that a balance must be struck between a reasonable inquiry into the site
conditions and an exhaustive analysis of each conceivable environmental characteristic.
