INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of the City of Stockton,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,'Inc. (AGE) has prepared this <br /> 1 quarterly report for the Van Buskirk Golf Course maintenance facility(site)located at 1740 Houston <br /> Avenue,Stockton,California(Figure 1).The work included collection of ground water samples from <br /> the-wells to assess the impact of petroleum hydrocarbons and fuel oxygenating compounds on <br /> ' ground water beneath the site. <br /> This report is prepared in accordance with guidelines established iri Appendix A to Tri-Regional <br /> ' Recommendations - Reporting, dated 30 August 199 1,.prepared by the Central.-Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) for the investigation of UST sites.,Site background <br /> information was summarized in the AGE-prepared Additional Soil and Ground Water Assessment <br /> Work Plan, dated 31 July 2000, which was approved by the San Joaquin County - Environmental <br /> Health Department (EHD)by letter dated 04 August 2000. <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> • i work. lan titled Work Plan Addendum <br /> The work was conducted as outlined in the A p E G , dated 19 <br /> November 2001 and approved by the EHD on 06 December 2001, and was performed in accordance <br /> with EHD.guidelines,for ground water monitoring well sampling and CVRWQCB guidelines for <br />' investigation of underground storage tank(UST) sites. <br /> 2.1.. WELL MONITORING PROCEDURES <br /> 1 On 24 December 2002,a ground watermonitoring event was conducted at the site.The ground water <br /> monitoring activities included measurement of ground water levels from shallow-screened,,water <br /> table wells MW-1 through MW-5 and MW-7 and deep-screened.wells MW-6, MW-9 and MW-10 <br /> ' and collection of ground water samples from wells MW-3 through MW_10. <br /> 1 2.1.1. Well Monitoring and Evacuation <br /> A Solinst water level meter was'used to measure the depth to ground water in each well relative to <br /> 1 the.top of the well casing. After water levels were gauged, approximately 3 to 10 gallons of water <br /> (a minimum of three casing-water volumes)were purged from wells MW-3 through MW-8 utilizing ; <br /> a dedicated,disposable bailer;and approximately 21 and 28 gallons of water were purged from wells <br /> I MW-10 and MW-9,respectively,utilizing a Waterrapump.Temperature,pH,and conductivity were <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmen(21,Inc. <br />
