A solinst water level meter was . <br /> ' used to measure the depth to ground water in each well relative to the-tops of the well casings.. <br /> After ground water depth measurements-were collected; monitoring-wells MW-3 through MW-5 , <br /> Were purged using a per-cleaned, two-stage submersible pump. Wells MW--6 through MW-8 were . ; <br /> bailed with a steel-bailer and pre-purged an excessive amount in an'attempt to.purge fine sediments , <br /> and silts ffoni.;the wells.
