Two borings must be drilled to groundwater to confirm that this site is not the source of the <br /> petroleum hydrocarbon contamination,particularly 1,2-DCA; one through the more recent`tank pit <br /> and another downgradient of the tank.pit. The borings should be logged continuously and,'samples <br /> collected every 5 feet and at.changes in.lithology, The samples should be analyzed for TPHg _ <br /> ,. TPHd TFHino,BTEX,MTBE, and solvents, including 1,2-DCA, <br /> 2. Tf DCA-is detected in soil samples above the-1979 water level,'the parties inust`work with DTSC <br />'- and the City of Lodi to resolve the solvent plume problem? <br /> 3. Io DCA is detected in soils above the 1979 water level,we will concur with site closure,and: <br /> a. Attempt to facilitate transfer of responsibility for monitor well maintenance to the City of <br /> Lodi and/or Mr.Bokdes;and indemnification of the;Togo's site responsible parties>from <br /> further responsibility for monitoring or remediation.i <br /> b.
