A copy of this letter is attached and should <br /> be included in your file. <br /> Mr. Alloway's letter of July first to you on my behalf should not be construed <br /> to mean my approval of conditional closure without the indemnification requested <br /> of the defendants. The intent of that letter was to assure all parties of my <br /> willingness to cooperate in closure efforts. As is noted in Mr. Alloway's letter <br /> to Mr. Kasanin, indemnification is a fairly routine accommodation under these <br /> circumstances. To date there has been no response to that letter.
