I
I
f
+
n
i Project No 58080-06-02
May 5, 1995
' TPHg was detected in borings GB-6, GB-7, GB-8, GB-9 and GB-10 at concentrations ranging from
15 to 6,700 mg/kg with the majority of TPHg detected in the 25 foot sample interval With the
exception of 15 mg/kg of TPHg detected at the depth of approximately 50 vertical feet bgs in boring
GB-6, all other TPHg was detected between the depths of 15 and 35 feet bgs The calculated
' distance of 50 vertical feet bgs for the sample collected from boring GB-6 accounts for the 30° slant
boring The laboratory reports for TPHg indicate that for those soil samples with detectable
hydrocarbons, the chromatogram pattern is one of"unidentified hydrocarbons" with a carbon range
greater than C, The chromatograms indicate that the gasoline hydrocarbons present in soil are
' highly weathered and degraded
' TPHd was detected in borings GB-8 and GB-10 at concentrations ranging from 20 to 4I0 mg/kg
and is present between the depths of 15 and 35 feet bgs for GB-8 and 25 and 35 feet bgs for GB-10
Similar to samples tested for TPHg, the laboratory reports for TPHd indicate that for those soil
samples with detectable hydrocarbons, the chromatogram pattern is one of "unidentified
hydrocarbons" with a carbon range from C,to Ci4 The chromatograms indicate that the diesel fuel
hydrocarbons present in soil are highly weathered and degraded
MTBE was not detected in any of the soil samples tested
3 5 Groundwater Analytical Results
I
I
' Groundwater samples collected from MW-I through MW-5 were tested for the presence of TPHg,
TPHd,' BTEX, MTBE and VOC's A cumulative summary of groundwater analytical data is
presented,in Table V Copies of laboratory reports and chain-of-custody records are included in
Appendix C Dissolved TPHg reported as weathered gasoline was detected in upgradient monitoring
' well MW-5 and onsite well MW-3 at concentrations of 88 ug/L and 250 ug/L, respectively TPHg
was not detected in wells MW-1, MW-2 and MW-4
-18-
