AID � <br /> 1.1 Scope of Work <br /> The scope of work conducted as part of:this investigation was detailed in our Work Plan for <br /> Preliminag Investigation dated October 19, 2009 and subsequently authorized by Ms. Victoria <br /> McCartney of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department on November 10, <br /> 2009. The following scope of work was completed on February 4, 2010: <br /> 0 Drilled and logged 2 soil borings with a truck mounted hollow stem auger rig, each to a <br /> depth of 25 feet below ground surface'(bgs). <br /> • Collected soil samples from each soil boring at five foot intervals or as lithology <br /> permitted using a split spoon sampler.; Each sample was screened both visually and with <br /> a Photo Ionization Detector (PID) for"evidence of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). <br /> • Collected a groundwater sample from each open boring using disposable bailers. <br /> Submitted eight soil samples and two groundwater samples to a laboratory for analyses. <br /> • Evaluated field and laboratory data. <br /> • Prepared this report. <br /> OGI personnel were present during all onsite assessment activities, collected soil samples, <br /> and maintained soil classification logs during drilling activities. Gregaprilling & Testing Inc. <br /> of Martinez, CA was contracted to perform drilling activities. Environmental Science <br /> Corporation was contracted to perform laboratory analysis of the soil samples.
