Due to the restraints of the equipment, residual levels of contamination were
left behind. However, the extent of this residual contamination is considered limited. The historical
high groundwater depth is approximately 95 feet from this remaining limited hydrocarbon source.
Therefore, PHS/EHD has determined that the remedial action completed at the site effectively protects
groundwater at this site, now and in the future, and concurs with the recommendation for closure.
A Case Closure Summary and a site chronology are enclosed for your reference. Unless otherwise
notified by you, after thirty calendar days PHS/EHD will issue a formal closure letter to the responsible
Party-
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact Linda Turkatte at (209) 468-3441. •
Donna Heran, RENS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Linda A.
