rr
SITE GEOLOGY
The site is typically covered with asphalt or concrete. The area soils
are brown silty sand or sand silt clays. Water elevation is fifty to
fifty-five feet below existing grade.
Soil layer encountered at the site started with a silty fine sand from
0 - 6 feet, a silty fine sand with clay from 6 - 12 feet, a silty fine
sandy clay with cemented particles (hard pan) 12 - 15 feet and fifteen
feet to sixteen feet a silty clayey fine sand.
GROUND WATER CHARACTERISTICS
The water table is expected to be at fifty to fifty-five feet based on
r information obtained from 1986 Map of San Joaquin Valley distributed by
the Department of Water Resources. Water gradient is expected to be in
a northwesterly direction from site.
DEFINITION OF HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL CONTAMINATION LIMITS
The horizontal and vertical limits were defined in the preliminary site
investigation done on August 8, 1990, see plot plan and excavation
profile. Location of soil samples taken from excavation is show on plot
plan and excavation profile.
BUILDING N1
LM-E2
LM- LM- 16'
LM- EXCAVATION
is, BOUNDARIES
PLOT PLAN
BUILDING CONCRETE SLAB
ELEVATION OF SAMPLES
LM-N1 - 15'
LM-E2 - 14'
LM-B3 - 16'
LM-S4 - 14'
LM-US - 14' LM-WS LM--E2
LM-S4
LM-B3
LM-N1
EXCAVATION PROFILE
