An application package for the <br /> ' Fund has been provided <br /> SafetyThe Fund to <br /> 6.75 of <br /> he <br /> Health and <br /> Codestorhelpdeligsibletowners aand rtCalifornia <br /> operators of petroleum <br /> underground <br /> storage tanks to <br /> rements to demonstrate financial responsibility, <br /> 1 Meet federal requi <br /> ' 2 Obtain reimbursement for costs of the cleanup of unauthorized <br /> releases of petroleum from USTs; and <br /> 3. Obtain reimbursement for damages awarded to third parties who are <br /> ' i.n3ured by petroleum releases. <br /> The maximum amount available from the Fund is $990,000 per occurrence <br /> Claimants are responsible for the first $10,000 of eligible costs' <br /> Applications must be submitted to the SWRCB Clean Up Fund by March 31, 1994 to <br /> undergo eligibility ranking for funding in the 1994-95 state fiscal budget <br /> year All subsurface investigations and remedial actions must be performed <br /> under a workplan approved by PHS/EHD. <br /> ' The Fund does not co.,er the costs incurred for the removal, repair, retrofit, <br /> or installation of USTs.
