KETTLEMAN LANE; LODI <br /> A proposal for further assessment and/or remediation of the groundwater <br /> contamination documented at the above referenced site has been :submitted to <br /> this office. <br /> At the current time, the San Joaquin Local Health District (SJLHD) is not <br /> authorized to enforce assessment and remecation of groundwater_ contamination. <br /> Therefore, all assessment and remediation activities involvincf groundwater <br /> contamination must be reviewed and approved by the Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) and/or Department of Health Services- <br /> Toxic Substances Control Division (DOHS- SCD) prior to initiating further <br /> activity at this site. <br /> In addition, the SJL14D will, continue to r .quire local approval and permits for <br /> certain activities such as borings, monit ring wells/plemometers, vapor probe <br /> :surveys, extraction systems, etc. All to al permitting will .required CVRWQCB <br /> approval in writing prior to permit issues ice. <br /> Pursuant to the San Joaquin Local Health )istrict fee schedule Resolution No. <br /> 85-58, a fee will be charged for time spe t on review activities in addition <br /> to any permit and inspection fees require]. <br /> The current workload volume is being managed by a 60-day backlog of <br /> chronologically received environmental as essment/r_emediatxon reports and/or <br /> workplans. , The San Joaquin Local Health, District has established a priority <br /> review process which is an option availab .e upon written request. The. <br /> priority review is conducted during oft: t1 urs at an overtime rate of $52.50 an <br /> hour.
