The <br /> cene age and dips gently to the west. <br /> Modesto Formation is of Pleisto <br /> The site is in the Eastern San Joaquin County Ground-Nater Basin(California Department <br /> of Nater Resources. 1980). Regional maps prepared from 1988 ground-water data by the <br /> San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (1988), indicate that <br /> the regional flow direction is to the southwest. The ground-water basin has been developed <br /> for intensive irrigation, domestic, industrial, municipal, and stock use. <br /> The local surface drainage includes the Mokelumne River and the South TMain Canal. The <br /> Mokelumne River drains to the west approximately 1 mile north of the City of Lodi. The <br /> approximately 3 miles west of the site. <br /> South Main Canal flows to the south, <br /> PROXIMITY OF WELLS AND UTILITIES <br /> It is our understanding from City of Lodi personnel that the city provides water and a <br /> sanitary sewer for the site. We understand from ARCO that an underground septic tank <br /> and leaching trench exist near the southern property boundary (Plate 2). We also <br /> understand there are no municipal,domestic, or irrigation water wells within 500 feet of the <br /> site. <br /> 500 feet west of the site. Data obtained from the <br /> Water-supply wells exist greater than <br /> California Department of Water Resources concerning these wells are presented in Table <br /> 1,and the locations of the wells are depicted on Plate 1.
