June 25, 1992 RAW <br /> ARCO Service Station No. 2076, Lodi, California WA% <br /> Results of the bioassay analysis indicated no fathead minnow died and concentrations of <br /> total chromium, nickel, and zinc were below the Total Threshold Limit Concentration <br /> outlined in Title 22, California Code of Regulations, Section 6626124. RESNA obtained <br /> authorization from the SJCPHS-EHD for Golden West to backfill the former tank cavity <br /> with the stockpiled soil <br /> TANK INSTALLATION AND BACKFILLING <br /> On November 22, 1991, RESNA forwarded analytical results of soil samples collected from <br /> the new tank cavity to the SJCPHS-EHD and requested authorization for ARCO's <br /> contractors to install the new tanks in the tank cavity east of the station building Verbal <br /> authorization was received from Ms. Letitia Resch on November 22, 1991 <br /> On December 2, 1991, RESNA forwarded results of soil samples collected from the former <br /> tank cavity In our letter of December 5, 1991 to the SJCPHS-EHD, RESNA forwarded <br /> results of soil samples collected from the product-line trenches and a diagram showing our <br /> plan to install subgrade piping for use in a future remediation system (Plates 4 and 5) We <br /> i <br /> requested authorization from ARCO to leave soil with residual hydrocarbons in place under <br /> the former product lines, for the contractor to install new product lines at the site, and for <br /> RESNA engineers to install subgrade components (4-inch-diameter polyvinyl chloride <br /> piping) next to the new product lines for use in a future vapor-extraction system The work <br /> was conducted the week of December 16, 1991 <br /> On December 11, 1991, Mr Steve Schneider of the SJCPHS-EHD verbally authorized <br /> disposal of soil from the new tank cavity to private land owned by Mr. Harvey Birndt <br /> located at 2050 Victor Road in Lodi, California Golden West previously arranged disposal <br /> of soil at this location at the request of ARCO. <br />• 4M-3 7 <br />
