Kettleman Lane
Lodi, CA I
At the request of your consultant, EMCON, San Joaquin County Public Health
Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) has again reviewed the
"Evaluation of Hydrocarbon Mass & Distribution" dated July 26, 1996 prepared
by EMCON for the above referenced site.
i
The comments made in the PHS/EHD letter dated September 9, 1996, about the
use of James Draguins "The Soil Chemistry of Hazardous Materials" and the
concentrations used in the contours which were used to calculate the mass of
gasoline remaining at this site are valid. Given the concentrations of
contaminants evidenced in the soil at this site and the unconfirmed impact to
groundwater, PHS/EHD has determined that further action is not required at this
site and will request concurrence for no further action at this site from the Central
Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board.
i
If you have any questions contact me at (209) 468-3449.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Margaret Lagorio, Supervising REHS
Site Mitigation Unit
c: EMCON - Jay Johnson
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
