(AGE) has prepared this <br /> addendum to the AGE-prepared Revised Site Assessment Work Plan, dated 28 February 2005, for <br /> 1301 West Kettleman Lane(the site),Lodi,California;the addendum addresses concerns expressed <br /> by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)by letter dated 17 May 2005. <br /> The addendum includes advancement of four additional soil borings. One boring will be completed <br /> as a ground water monitoring well to help define the lateral extent of methyl-tertiary-butyl ether <br /> (MTBE)and radius of influence of subsequent ground water extraction or ozone sparging tests.The <br /> remaining borings will be advanced to determine the extent of soil impact in the vadose zone in the <br /> area of the former USTs and dispensers,and will be completed as soil-vapor extraction wells if soil <br /> is determined to be highly impacted. Otherwise, the southernmost boring will be completed as a <br /> ground water monitoring well to help define the extent of ground water contamination south of the <br /> former USTs/dispenser area. A site map with proposed boring locations is provided on Figure 1. <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> In addition to the scope of work approved in the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department(EHD)letter dated 17 May 2005,AGE proposes to advance four additional borings in <br /> the following locations: <br /> • One boring(1)down-gradient of well MW-2,in the area of highest MTBE-impact,to define <br /> the possible off-site migration of MTBE and help determine radius of influence for ground <br /> water extraction and/or ozone sparging; <br /> • Three borings in the area of the former USTsdispensers to determine the extent of soil <br /> impact:one boring(2)will be located east of the former UST pit and west of B-4;one boring <br /> 837 Shaw Road, Stockton,California 95215 <br /> Telephone(209)467-1006 Fax (209)467-1118 <br />
