"VI 5 2005 <br /> ENVIRONMEN T HEALTH " " <br /> Mr. Harlin knoll: <br /> PERM1T, ERVICEe <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Dept. <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue <br /> Stockton,.CA95202 . <br /> Subject: Extension Request for Flame Mini Mart <br /> 1301 West Kettleman Lane,Lodi,California <br /> Dear Mr. Knoll: <br /> On 12 August 2005,the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)issued a directive <br /> -letter to the Flame Mini Mart- 1301 West Kettleman Lane,Lodi, California(site), which included (1) <br /> performance of batch ground water extraction from well MW-2, (2) installation of three additional <br /> ground water monitoring wells (3) installation of four additional soil borings�with option to convert to <br /> soil vapor extraction wells if gasoline contamination was encountered, and(4)preparation off-a report <br /> of findings by.1.5 November 2005. <br /> To date, a groundwater batch removal (one event) has been performed at the site between 18 and 21 <br /> October 2005;a report of findings has been transmitted to youroffice.Additionally,an EHD drill permit. <br /> was issued to AGE on l I October 2005 for the above referenced three ground water monitoring wells <br /> and four soil borings;however,due to scheduling conflicts with Cascade Drilling Inc.,field work cannot <br /> commence until 21 November 2005.Consequently,AGE will not.be able to meet the 1.5 November 2005 <br /> due date for a report of findings, and we will require additional time to perform the required field work <br /> -and to adequately prepare a report the-findings. Therefore,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
