I <br />' S Quarterly Report - Third Quarter 2000 <br />' FLAME LIQUOR <br /> 1301 West Kettleman Lane <br /> Lodi, California <br /> t1.0. INTRODUCTION <br />' At the request of Mr Graffigna of Flame Liquor, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has <br /> prepared this quarterly report for the site at 1301 West Kettleman Lane,Lodi, California The scope <br /> of work included monitonng and sampling four ground water momtonng wells for petroleum <br />' hydrocarbons All four wells, MW-1, MW-2, MW-3, and MW-4, were utilized for monitoring the <br /> petroleum hydrocarbon-impact to ground water associated with an unauthorized release ofpetroleum <br /> hydrocarbons from a UST system formerly located at the site Quarterly monitoring and reporting <br />' was required by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services-Environmental Health Division <br /> (PHS-EHD)by letter dated 01 November 1999 The site setting is illustrated on Figure 1 Locations <br /> of structures, borings, and monitoring wells are illustrated on Figure 2 A ground water elevation <br />' map with flow direction indicated is illustrated on Figure 3 <br /> Site history and findings from previous investigations at the site are detailed in the AGE-prepared <br />' Preliminary Site Assessment Work Plan, dated 30 June 1999 <br /> lie 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> I The work was performed in accordance with San Joaquin County PHS-EHD and California Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board - Central Valley Region guidelines for investigation of underground <br /> storage tank (UST) sites <br /> 21 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> On 05 September 2000, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to groundwater <br /> in all four monitoring wells relative to the tops of the well casings After the depth-to-ground water <br />' measurements were collected, the monitoring wells were purged using a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) <br /> bailer Approximately 6 gallons of water were evacuated from each of the monitoring wells, <br /> equivalent to three casing-water volumes per well <br /> ITemperature,pH and conductivity were measured at 2-gallon intervals,using an ICM model 52200 <br /> water analyzer to monitor pH, temperature and conductivity of the purged water The field data are <br />' summarized in tables in Appendix A, along with the field data logs Purged water was temporarily <br /> stored on-site in 55-gallon drums <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
