Advanced <br /> GeoEnvironmental, Inc . <br /> 04 April 2006 ; <br /> AGE-NC Project No 99-0624 �� �� `� �� LE D <br /> 7 2UG6 <br /> Mr Harlin Knoll EWPOMIEN[ HDALTH <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health PWMIT/SERVICES <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> Subject: Ground Water Batch Removal Report of Findings -January 2006 <br /> FLAME MINI-MART <br /> 1301 West Kettleman Lane, Lodi, California <br /> Dear Mr Knoll <br /> In accordance with a San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department letter directive, dated <br /> 12 August 2005,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc (AGE)performed aground water batch removal <br /> event between 23 and 27 January 2006 at the Flame Mini Mart, 1301 West Kettleman Lane, Lodi, <br /> • Calrfomia (site) The site setting is illustrated on Figure 1 Site structures and monitoring well <br /> locations are depicted on Figure 2 <br /> AGE utilized a 3 horsepower, Central Pnuematic electric air compressor and a submersible, fluid <br /> pneumatic extraction pump manufactured by QED (model AP-2) to continuously extract ground <br /> water from on-site well MW-2 at an approximate rate of 1 gallon per minute Extracted ground water <br /> was stored on-site, in a 4,000-gallon poly tank supplied by Baker Tanks <br /> Depth to ground water measurements were collected on a daily basis from on-site wells MW-1 <br /> through MW-4,and MW-6 through MW-8, measurements were collected from the top of each well <br /> casing to the nearest 0 01-foot utilizing a Solinst water level meter Ground water elevations for each <br /> well were determined by subtracting the measured,depth to ground water from the surveyed casing <br /> elevation (Table 1) Based on depth to water field measurements, a maximum ground water <br /> draw-down of approximately 2 32 feet was measured from well MW-2 during ground water <br /> extraction activities, however, ground water levels appeared to be unaffected by ground water <br /> extraction activities at all the other well locations Depth to water field measurements collected <br /> during the ground water batch removal event are summarized in Table-1 <br /> Grab water samples were collected on a daily basis from the extracted ground water discharge at <br /> MW-2 Each water sample was transferred into three 40-m1 volatile organic analysis (VOA) vials <br /> containing 0 5 ml 18%hydrochloric acrd as a sample preservative After collection,the samples were <br /> properly labeled, placed in a chilled container and transported under chain of custody to Cal Tech <br /> t.
