The results of this additional subsurface investigation found evidence of benzene and 1, 2-
dichloropropane exceeding MCLs for drinking water in groundwater beneath the septic system
area.
The impact found to the groundwater by benzene and 1,2-DCP was not delineated to the west
or south of the septic system. The concentrations of benzene decrease substantially to the
northwest. The concentrations of 1,2-DCP do not appear follow this pattern; rather, the
concentration is highest in the farthest north portion of the investigated septic system area.
Due to discovery of a release on the subject property, the results of this assessment are
required to be provided to the San Joaquin County Department of Environmental Health
(SJVDEH) and the Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) for their evaluation and
regulatory review.
Addendum to Limited Phase II Environmental Site Assessment Report Pinnacle Environmental,Inc.
248 Industrial Avenue,Stockton,CA 95206 Page 11
