Required Electronic Data Submittals. Since 1 September 2001, analytical laboratories have been <br /> required to submit electronic data using Electronic Deliverable Format (EDF) for their analyses of soil <br /> and/or groundwater samples, in addition to the customary paper format, for all UST sites undertaking an <br /> investigative or cleanup component of UST environmental regulatory program. New regulations <br /> (California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Chapter 16, Article 12; Sections 2729 and 2729.1), adopted <br /> by the State Water Resources Control Board pursuant to Assembly Bill 2886 which added <br /> Sections 131195-131198 to the California Water Code, specify that UST responsible parties must submit <br /> all EDF data over the internet to the State Water Board Geographic Environmental Information <br /> Management System database (Geotracker).
