Required Electronic Data Submittals. Since 1 September 2001, analytical laboratories have been required to submit electronic data using Electronic Deliverable Format (EDF) for their analyses of soil and/or groundwater samples, in addition to the customary paper format, for all UST sites undertaking an investigative or cleanup component of UST environmental regulatory program. New regulations (California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Chapter 16, Article 12; Sections 2729 and 2729.1), adopted by the State Water Resources Control Board pursuant to Assembly Bill 2886 which added Sections 131195-131198 to the California Water Code, specify that UST responsible parties must submit all EDF data over the internet to the State Water Board Geographic Environmental Information Management System database (Geotracker).
