MW1 was <br /> decommissioned in accordance with the work plan prepared by Condor Earth Technologies, Inc., <br /> (Condor), dated October 27, 1995, and San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental <br /> Health Department (SJCPHS,EHD) comments to the ivork plan. The location of the Di Salvo <br /> Trucking facility and the former location of MW 1 are shown on the attached figures. This letter report <br /> was prepared by Condor at the request of Mr. Charlie Lawlor of Di Salvo Trucking. <br /> WELL CONSTRUCTION <br /> In June, 1995, one monitor well was installed the Di Salvo Lathrop site. The monitor well <br /> was drilled using 8-inch O.D.,hollow-stem, continuous-flight augers and constructed with 2-inch I.D., <br /> Schedule 40, flush-threaded, 0.020 machine-slotted PVC screen. The PVC screen extended from a <br /> depth of 18.5 feet to 10.5 feet below ground surface gs). Blank PVC casing was installed above the <br /> well screen up to the ground surface.
