Excavate the source material, and continue groundw ter monitoring. The extent of soil
contamination is limited to the area surrounding the Former UST. Removing the impacted soil
should minimize future groundwater impact of site constituents.
2. Install a well cluster immediately downgradient oft e former UST site to monitor the upper and
-lower sand units;-arid determine-the'vertical-ground ater-gradient: Additional deep-monitoring~ =-r
wells may also be needed to determine the deep groundwater flow direction. All water samples
should be analyzed for all oxygenates and gasoline additives by EPA Method 8260B.
3. Complete a sensitive receptor survey, and determine well construction details for the three
domestic water supply wells within close proximity f the former UST. The on-site water supply
well should also be included in the quarterly monitoring and sampling program.
