(AGS) is providing a schedule and brief description of <br /> investigation activities proposed at the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station <br /> San Diego Detachment (NCTS). The site work is anticipated to take four days beginning <br /> on September 28, 1999. Site activities will be conducted during daylight hours from <br /> approximately 8.00 am to 5:00 pm. Field activities will be coordinated between NCTS <br /> environmental oversight personnel, the EFA-West project manager and AGS prior to the <br /> beginning of the field work. <br /> Scope of Work <br /> AGS proposes to drill 21 soil borings at the three sites. The drilling locations will be <br /> cleared using a utility subcontractor prior to the drilling activities. Drill cuttings and <br /> decontamination water will be stored on-site in properly labeled DOT approved 55-gallon <br /> drums prior to their removal (approximately 8 weeks).
