I tried to call you at(909) 364-2195 a few minutes ago but you
must not be near the phone. It rang several times before I hung up; therefore, I am sending this email.
One concern I have is why Biophysics Environmental Assessments, Inc. (BEA) proposes to use a ten-inch outside
diameter auger instead of an eight-inch outside diameter auger with a four-and-a-quarter inch inside diameter.
My other concern is why BEA proposes to use Tracy Urgent Care Medical Clinic instead of the Sutter Tracy Community
Hospital at 1420 N. Tracy Blvd. in case of an emergency.
Also, I want to bring to your attention that the wrong reporting limits for gasoline, benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and
total xylenes are listed in Table 1 of 2005 1st Quarter Groundwater Monitoring Report and Site Assessment Work Plan for
groundwater samples MW-1, MW-9, MW-13, MW-14, MW-15, MW-16, MW-17, and MW-18 collected in March 2005. The
reporting limit for gasoline should be 50 micrograms per liter(ug/L) instead of 8 ug/L; and the reporting limits for benzene,
toluene, ethyl benzene, and total xylenes should each be 0.3 ug/L instead the 0.04 ug/L for benzene and ethyl benzene,
and 0.09 ug/L for toluene and total xylenes. Please correct this table for future reports.
Thank you, David.
Vicki McCartney,Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
304 E.Weber Avenue
Stockton,CA 95202-2708
Phone: (209)468-3456
Fax: (209)468-3433
E-mail: vmccartney®sjcehd.com
t
